All of the staff at Scallywags Loanhead either have or are working towards professional qualifications. As part of our induction training our staff are trained in Child Protection, Food Hygiene, Infection Control and Manual Handling before working on the floor with the children. We also put all our staff through First Aid training at the first available opportunity, meaning there are always multiple First Aiders on hand.
Scallywags staff work closely with various other professionals including but not limited to, Health Visitors, Speech & Language Therapists, Midlothian Council Inclusion Officers and our teacher from Midlothian Council.
