Wee Scallys
Our engaging Wee Scallys room, situated on our ground floor, caters for children from birth to approximately 2 years in a lovely bright and spacious environment which is the perfect place for your little one to grow in confidence.
The Wee Scallys will have the chance to participate in various developmental stage appropriate activities such as, messy and sensory play, story and song time, heuristic treasure baskets to name just a few. They have direct access to our secured wall garden and eco garden as well as having many opportunities to be out on regular local walks.
We fully understand that every Wee Scally in our care is a unique individual and we therefore work closely with you to ensure we follow your babies home routine as closely as possible. We will endeavour to make every effort to minimise any unnecessary upset when transitioning your baby from home to nursery.

Big Scallys
Big Scallys provides for children aged approximately 2-3 years and is set within a large room on our first floor with regular access to our secure outdoor garden area, as well as opportunities to be out exploring the local community.
This room provides excellent opportunities to challenge gross motor skills on our indoor climbing frame whilst improving their fine motor skills through activities such as threading, arts & crafts and various construction to name just a few.

Super Scallys
Our Super Scallys room which is based on the ground floor provides for children between the ages of approximately 3 to starting school age. Children within this room also have direct access to our secure outdoor play area. This room contains various learning areas each equipped with resources focusing on particular areas of the curriculum. These include mark making, information technology, mathematics, construction, arts and crafts, role play, story corner and various others.
Here your child will continue to gain confidence and develop a wider range of skills providing a solid foundation for primary education.

Garden
We are lucky enough to have our own secured walled garden to the rear of the nursery allowing children to take part in physical activities, heighten their senses and explore outdoors.
We also have an eco garden where the children can enjoy playing in the mud kitchen, planting & growing and spending time in our wigloo.
